The vinyl or whatever it is made out of seems as if it will crack over time. I usually have mine open and folded back most of the time and it seems like the "spine" on the inside will crack. I don't plan on this lasting more than a year, so it doesn't matter to me if it doesn't hold up for more than 9-12 months. If you are looking for durability then I would suggest looking for something more expensive. If you're looking for style and want something new in a year, then get this. I really like it. The color is true to the picture. I've only used it for a couple weeks then changed to my "summer" cover. I am going back to this one for the rest of the cold months and will change it out in the spring.
