Just upgraded from an S9 to an S20 for the 5G.Was trying to buy an Icarer case for the S20 but it is from Hong Kong and won't arrive until October. I needed a case until it arrives. So I looked through about 200 cases on amazon, trying to find something that didn't have those over hangs or tabs, that often come on the flip covers, that bulk up the phone. I like a case to protect while being streamlined. I only use flip cases, as I am not gentle. The Icarer case was streamlined and protected the phone through a drop down the carpeted stairs. Not a crack and the phone functioned normally. That's the background.Was unsure about this one because the photos made the case color look a little mauvee. I don't like mauve. This case is very similar in tone to the photos but it is a metallic color. It has a satin-like finish with a great texture. Not too grippy and not too smooth. It holds the phone snuggly in the black semi-soft phone holding part. The inside cover is nice and smooth. As others have said, the card holder is very tight. I will not use it personally so that doesn't matter. The case wraps around the phone but isn't bulky. Fantastic design.You do not get to see a lot of the beautiful phone through the case, which is a shame, but what you see looks really nice with the case. I got the pink S20. It has a rose gold metallic finish around the edges and for the camera. The color looks very nice with the case where you can see the rose gold finish. All the cut outs are in the right places.I have actually dropped the phone once from about the height of a kitchen table onto a vinyl kitchen floor with the case on and there was not any damage to the case or the phone. DISCLAIMER: Your experience may differ...The magnet is strong enough to keep the cover from opening if you are holding the phone with the cover face down. The cover folds all the way back with no problems and the magnet holds it in place. The edge is nice and smooth so not to uncomfortable when the case is open. The fabric on the inside of the case cover is nicer and soft, so it is not likely to scratch the phone at all.It is my new favorite case. The Icarer is a great case, but this one is my new favorite. As it is only a few days old, I cannot speak to the long-term durability. It does feel sturdy. I am confident that it will be durable.I tried to edit the photos so you could see the metallic pink finish better. It is hard to photograph the color to show the metallic satiny finish. The photos are as close as I could come to show the case in its true colors.For what it is worth, I have sent back several cases for assorted devices over the last couple of years because the colors didn't match or the item was not as described. This one is not going back. Very impressive.UPDATE: Bought one for a friend's S10 because mine was such a great case. Now hoping they will make one for the S21 Ultra!! Best slim flip case there is.
