I've been using this case for over three months now. It replaced a super thin hard case that I really like, but was beginning to fail.I would say this case is medium-soft rubber/plastic. The feel is not slick or smooth, but also not too tacky and rubbery. It has the right amount of softness to allow a solid feeling in my grip, allowing me to one-hand-type without dropping the phone. On the other hand, it does slide nicely into my pocket without sticking to the material or collecting fuzz and lint.The front lip of the case is slightly taller than the screen (plus my hard glass screen protector). If placed face-down on a flat surface, the screen does not touch anything. On the backside, a small rib surrounds the camera lens giving it similar protection.The edges thicker than my last phone case, but not too thick. Given the density of the material (slightly rubbery) it probably will absorb a drop, rather than crack or abrade like some cases I have tried.The hole at the bottom for the lightening connector is rather large. I have lots of different cable brands, event the magnetic quick-disconnect type, and they all fit. I've tried other cases that barely accepted the OEM apple cable, so this was a nice surprise.One of the two items for me that will make/break a case is wireless charging. If a case is too thick and prevents wireless charging, I toss it. This case is not too thick. I charge it every night at my bedside.The other item that is crucial to me is my magnetic car mount. I place a thin metal disc between the case and the phone to engage with my magnets. Many hard cases I've tried are too rigid and the metal disc just doesn't fit. This case has enough give and flex that the metal disk is unnoticed. Also, the thickness of the back of the case is not too much that it prevents a strong magnetic connection to my mount.Everyone has different taste in ascetics, but I like the simple lines and the open holes pattern on the back. It is attractive but not too flashy.I like this case so much, I bought a second for my son's new phone, trusting it would fit, look nice, and protect it. My only problem is now I sometimes swap phones with him by accident.
